On average, each calorie consumed in the United States travels over 1500 miles before we eat it. This compromises the freshness and nutritional content of the produce in grocery stores. At Secondhand Farms, we'd like to close that gap and give communities access to year-round fresh produce harvested mere feet from the stores it is sold in.
